Batuk Bhairav

The ancient text Shakti Sangam Tantra in its Kali Khand chapter has mentioned the origin of Lord Batuk Bhairav. According to the text, once a demon named Aapat had gained powers through Sadhanas and he used it to harass everyone including the gods.

The gods then got together and started to think of ways to find a solution to this problem. As they started concentrating, their powers appeared as a flash of light and took the form of a five year old child, Batuk. The child, then, killed the demon and saved the gods which is why he is known as Aapat Uddharak Batuk Bhairav.

In tantra and other Hindu puja, this is the most worshiped form of Lord Bhairav among the various forms of Bhairav. All other forms of Bhairav are terrifying apart from this as this is in the form of a child. He is also known as the child form of Lord Shiva. The image of Batuk Bhairav is displayed with a dog accompanying him, which is symbolized as dharma.

He is said to be pleased by the devotion of the worshippers and conducting puja and homam is said to take away all the obstacles and cleanse the soul. Also, the dogs, especially the black dogs are considered to be the form of Bhairav and feeding the dogs every Saturday and taking care of them is also said to please the god and bring good fortune.

Worship of any Devi is incomplete without the propitiation of Batuka: the bhairava in the form of a brahmacharin(celibate) youth Batuka are of primary importance without their grace, parashakti is not pleased with the sadhaka.

The origin of the murti named Batuka is described variously in the tantras. The shakta version is presented here. It is said, that at some point in the present kalpa, the universe was permeated with various beings such as, pretas, pishachas, , yakshas, rakshasas, kinnaras, gandharvas and grahas. While being devoted to a particular deity (such as ganapatya grahas to ganapati and his upasakas), they also created havoc and robbed sadhakas of the merit of their japa and worship. To protect the world and the well-being of upasakas, bhagavati adya mahakali conceived the divine form of Batuka:

The form and essence of Batuka bhairava was from, mahavidya-s and various manifestations of kali, tara, tripurasundari, bala, chinnamasta, bagalamukhi, bhuvaneshvari, dhumavati and matangi.

He was awarded a kapala by chinnamasta and granted the mastership of time and death by kalika. He was also given a trishula with its three prongs presided over by shaktitraya – kali, tara and chinnamasta.

It was then revealed by mahakali that it was shiva, based on her samkalpa, who had materialized as Batuka, Batuka gained control over Vetaladi grahas and by propitiating him during one’s upasana, the sadhaka is not bothered by any malevolent graha and is protected from every kind of distress and danger.

The jayantI tithi of Batuka bhairava is shuddha-dashamI of jyeShTha mAsa.

Shri Vidya Guru Shri Urvashiben (My Guru)

 Jai Bahuchar Jai Gurudev All

Around from last 3 years, To satisfy my eagerness for knowing all the unknown facets of macrocosm(universe) and microcosm(my body), I was looking for a philosophical cum scientific system or path which covers everything. I started to look for a Guru who can initiate me and teach me the hidden secrets of the such knowledge. My friend who said, “It is the Guru who finds a Shishya (disciple), not at the wish of Shishya.” I just thought I will wait until my Guru will appear to me at the right time.

I am a Shakta (Shakti Upasak-Devotee) and I feel infinite love and devotion for Goddess Bahucharaji (Bala Tripura Sundari). Out of love,  I installed a BalaYantra  at home. To meditate on the Yantra, I started reciting Beej (seed) Mantra written on the Yantra with the intention to find me a right Guru, it is said that such Mantras must not be recited without mantra Deeksha(initiation) from a capable Guru but it was Bala’s wish to take me to the Guru. I came to know about Shri Vidya straight after starting reciting this Mantra, read more and more about Shri Vidya. It attracted me so strongly especially because Shri Vidya is confluence of  Advaita Vedanta , Bhakti yoga , Raja Yoga and Tantra(Kundalini Yoga). I was reading the book of Swami Rama of Himalayas (Who was Shri Shankaracharya at one time in his life) called “Living with Himalayan Masters” where he said Shri Vidya is the highest path of all paths, highly technical, shortest and hardest too. It is said that you can know Shri Vidya (Lalita Tripur Sundari) only if she wishes so.

It is said you must, in past lives, have done thousands of years of sadhana of all the devatas such as Vishnu, Shiva, etc. to reach this point. It is said that one can obtain initiation into Srividya only if one is in his/her or his final birth – or is verily Shiva Himself. I was sceptical whether I will be able to even get an understanding about Shri Vidya. I searched for Gurus from Jyotirmani Peeth in Uttarakhand to South India to suit my need but some places didn’t have workshops running or Gurus who can talk to me, some were too busy to talk. I can understand now that Bala had something else pre-planned for me.

The long awaiting wait supposed to be finished in mid August 2017, Being a science and technology student I never used to believe such thing as a divine interventions at such small level which drives your life and probably you wouldn’t believe me too. One day I was browsing something on my mobile phone and suddenly the website www.shrividya.com opened in front of me. I started reading about it and felt this is it, this the place I belong to. It is 4okms away from hometown Mehsana where I lived almost 25 years but never came across.

On 21 August 2017 at 3:04pm (West Australian Standard Time) I rang on the landline number given on the website. It was Somvati Amas of holy month of Shravan and lot of puja/hawan was happening on the other side of the phone. The sweet voice from other side said “Jai Ambe Jai Gurudev”, I copied and started to tell why I rang. That voice was from Shri Urvashiben-Current Peethadhipati of Kadi Shri Vidya Learning Centre of Shri Vidya Pashupat (Kashi) Parampara. I call her Gurubaa (Daughter of Shri Devibaa and Shri Shivguruji). She calmly listened and suggested to start Shri Suktam before I go to the Shri Vidya learning centre called Raj  Rajeshwari Peeth at Kadi, North Gujarat. I reciprocated and started the Shri Suktam with pure devotion. I called her many times within next 5-6 weeks and she always replied with motherly voice and love. I finally made my mind to see her when I travel to India in October 2017. On the very first day in India, I went to see Shri Gurubaa at Kadi with my younger brother. She explained and advised what is next to be done. Gurubaa  gave me and my brother a Mantra  Deeksha(initiation) on very auspicious day of Diwali. We feel very lucky belonging to such a rich Parampara. If we want to save the Pramapara for future generations, we have to follow it first. The Shakta shastras allow of women being Guru, or Spiritual Director, a reverence which the West has not (with rare exceptions) yet given them. Initiation by a Mother bears eightfold fruit. Indeed to the enlightened Shakta the whole universe is Stri or Shakti. Indeed, in some texts initiation by a female guru is considered the highest form of induction into Shri Vidya. As Stri already posses Devi’s attributes physiologically and psychologically.

Param Pujya Shri Urvashiben is the oldest daughter of Param Pujya Sri Devi Ba and Param Pujya Shiv Guruji who are the founders of the Shri Rajrajeshwari Peetham in Kadi.

Born on 30th October 1950, Param Pujya Urvashiben married Shri Jagdishchandra on the 10th March 1969 and have 2 sons and 2 grandchildren.  From an early age, growing up in a spiritual household,  Uravashiben received insight and knowledge of Sri Vidya from her parents and Guru Parampara culminating in her being given Purnadiksha and is currently Peethdheesh of the Kadi Shri Vidya Peetham,

Shri Urvashibentirelessly leads the Peetham in Gujarat and the Shri Vidya Guru lineage by teaching and guiding sadhakas in to this discipline and selflessly emanating Her divine Love. Shri Vidya Pujans and Archans are carried out daily, ans she travels at lengths around Gujarat to teach and propagate true Shri Vidya.

Having a warming smile, a radiant personality, always welcoming and full of Motherly Love, she has many disciples and has given Purnadiksha to many. She is a true living Devi (Tvarit Amba) and a leading female Shri Vidya Guru in the world.

Shri Vidya Guru Shri Shivguruji

Guruji was an ideal gentleman and had a very warm and fatherly presence. He was always kind, supportive and spent much time in teaching Shri Vidya.  Shri Shivguruji would spend 6 months in Kadi and 6 months abroad teaching Shri Vidya to many disciples around the world.  He propagated the Shri Vidya Mandal UK which is based in the UK, which carries out Shri Vidya related functions and pujas.

Both Ba and Shivguruji initiated many disciples across the globe – in the UK / US. Australia, Africa and India. They both propagated the Divine knowledge of Shri Vidya on a large scale and carried out many divine functions and pujas globally.

Many of these pujans have not been carried out in hundreds of years and each was conducted to the strictest of rules according to Tantra Shastra. Many Gajmakhas have been carried out including conducting the first one outside India ever on 01/01/2000 – coinciding with the Millennium in UK.

Regular pujans include – Lalita Sahasranam Suvasini Puja, Lalita Maha Yagas, Das Maha Vidya Puja, the historical Ashtaashtaka Mahayaga,Shat Chandis, Lalitha Sahasranam Chatur Laksharchana, Annakoot Vaibhav, Laksh Deep Archan and Koti Shodashiamba Makha and 1000 Shri Pujans performed daily for 1000 days!

(In the photo Shri Kiritbhai)

They were graced with three children, the eldest being Shri Kirit Bhai, Shri Urvarshi Ben and Shri Nita Ben.  All three have achieved Purnabhashika in their own right.  As a stula form of Kameshwar Kameshwari, hundreds of disciples have been initiated in the Shri Vidya tradition. Many miracles were credited to Ba and ShivGuruji.

The great tradition and lineage is kept alive today by their daughter Param Pujya Shri Urvarshi Ben who is the Peethadhipati of Shri Raj Rajeswari Peetham Kadi, Gujarat.

ShivGuruji attained Mahasmadhi and left for Manidweepam on 8/6/2006.

Shri Vidya Guru Shri Devibaa

Jai Bahuchar Jai Gurudev my fellow Sadhakas,

On the 8th day of my Guru mantra Anusthan, I would like to introduce the rare jewel of my Guru Mandal (Circle of Gurus) who dissolved herself in, nurtured and spread the Shri Vidya Reet until 2009. This my tribute to the entire Guru Mandal.

Shri Devibaa was  the Guru of Shri Vidya Kashi Pashupat Parampara, who started to spread the Vidya (knowledge) to the worthy ones across the Gujarat and overseas specially Africa, UK. USA and Australia. She is my Param Guru (My Guru’s Guru) and She and her husband Param Pujya Shri Shivguruji established Raj Rajeshwari Peeth (Shri Vidya learning) Peeth in Kadi, North Gujarat which has turned into Kadamb Van of Shri upasakas of Shri Vidya Pashupat Parampara.

Param Pujya Shri Devibaa and Param Pujya Shri ShivGuruji were main disciples of Shri Devshankar Trivedi (Shri Devshankar Dada/).

Param Pujya Shri DeviBa was born on Magsar Shudh Beej on 3/12/1929.

Little is known about her parents as they passed away at an early age. Ba’s maternal aunt and uncle bought her up. From a very young age, it was obvious that she was an extraordinary girl. Even at this tender age, Param Pujya Baa showed an immense passion towards spirituality.

From a very early age, Shri Devi Ba showed signs of a deep yearning for spirituality and She would eventually become a modern day Saint of the highest degree. Fondly known as Ba, She would spend most of her time in puja, path, organising satsangs and serving sadhu sants from a very early age.

She married Shri ShivGuruji on 11/05/43 and they spent the rest of their lives in Kadi, North Gujarat. Both were initiated into Shri Vidya and their hard work, anustaans and upasna directed them towards obtaining Purnabhasheka by Guru Shri Devshankar Shastry, Rajuguru of Sanand State, Gujarat. They were a perfect example to mankind of an ideal yugal damapati.  Both forever immersed in the Divine light of Sri Vidya.

On meeting Param Pujya Ganpatram Guruji, She was asked to be given diksha. Humbly Ba replied that she is not ready yet, most people would have accepted mantra diksha with glee, however this showed her humble and selfless nature.

Later she was given Mantra Updesh and Purnabhishek by Shri Dev Shankar Trivedi – himself a direct shisya of Shri Ganpatram Guruji. Ba’s Guru bhakti was unparalleled, she embodied the qualities of a perfect shishya. Day by day she became more engrossed in nitya pujan (daily pujan) along with balancing her married life, duties to her extended family and her children. Ba lived in a very orthodox household and would finish her nitya archan early morning and before completing her household duties. Shri Devi Baa and Shri Shiv Guruji going to do pujan of  Shri Devshankar Dada before travelling to UK.

Having a perfect balance of family and spiritual life, Ba set a excellent example of how upasna should be carried out for house holders and how to integrate it for every day, without neglecting our samsaric duties.

In the mid 1970’s Ba took an oath to perform 1 koti japas of the Shri Vidya mantra, whilst standing in the river Narmada waist deep in the water.

She lived in a hut on the banks of the river at Malsar for 3 and a half years to successfully complete her tapasya. The hut where she stayed was in the midst of wild animals and fearsome Aghoris.  After this intense tapasya, Ba did not want to come back and spend the remainder of her days in deep sadhana.

Whilst in the waters of the Narmada River, she received Divine Darshan, Devi came to her and recited the verse and name of Shri Lalita Tripursundari – Name 880. “Samsara panga nirmagna samuddharana panditha” Stuck in the mud of samsara she needed to become like a lotus. Unscathed by the mud, she should flower in her upasna and share the glory of this wonderful upasna of Sri Vidya to the world.

Param Pujya Shri Dev Shankar Trivedi (Ba’s Guru) also instructed Ba not ignore society and spread the divine Shri Vidya to the worthy, to guide people in this Sacred path and continue the Shri Vidya Pashu Pat Parampara lineage. Respecting her Gurujl’s wish Ba settled in Kadi and set up the Raj Rajeshwari Pitham in the late 70’s and started guiding sadhakas on this royal path of Shri Vidya.

With the support of Shri Shivguruji they both became the a ideal yugal dampati.- epitomy of the Divine Couple – Kameshwar and Kameshwari.

Guruji initiated many shisyas in India and around the world and is considered to be one of the first pioneers to spread trueShri Vidya abroad.

The great tradition and lineage is kept alive today by their daughter Param Pujya Shri Urvarshi Ben who is the Peethadhipati of Shri Raj Rajeswari Peetham Kadi, Gujarat.

Param Pujya Shree DeviBa left for Manidweepam on 19/12/2009. It is felt that Shri DeviBa’s Tatva went to Manidweepam but it appears that her Devi Tatva is dissolved into her daughters who are as Matamayi as Shri Devi Ba.

Shri DeviBaa (middle) with her daughters – Nitaben (Left) and Urvashiben (Right)- She is my Guru.

Shri Vidya Guru Shri Devshankar Trivedi ji

On the 7th day of mantra Anusthan, I would like to introduce the another precious jewel of my Guru Mandal (Circle of Gurus) who nurtured and spread the Shri Vidya Reet in last century . This my tribute to the entire Guru Mandal.

Shri Devshankar Trivedi  was  the Guru of Shri Vidya Kashi Pashupat Parampara, who started to spread the Vidya (knowledge) to the worthy ones across the North Gujarat. He is my Parmeshthi Guru and he was the Guru of my Param Guru(My Guru’s Guru) Shri Devi Baa and Shiv Guruji. He installed Shri Yantra at Amarkantak. He was Acharya at Kadi Raj Rajeshwari Peeth and he was who inspired Devi Baa and Shiv Guruji to establish a temple to fulfill the wish of his Guru Shri Ganpatramji.

Param Pujya Shri Devshankar Trivedi of Sanand was the main disciple of Shri Ganpatram Dave(https://aishwaryanand.com/2017/12/12/shri-vidya-guru-shri-ganpatram-ji/).  He was born 03/08/1920 and given Purnadisha at the age of 35 on Shravan Adhik Vad Chauth.

Shri Devshankar Trivedi was the Raj Guru (Spiritual advisor to the King of Sanand) and performed many Yagnas around Gujarat and also installed the Shri Yantra at Amarkantak.

He was one of the greatest Bala Tripurasundari upasaks (Child form of the Goddess) and living close the Great Bala Shakti Pitha of Bahucharaji, Guruji was regarded a great scholar in tantra Shastra in Gujrat. He was bestowed  the title of Mantra Pravin from the  Shankracharyas, for his adept knowledge and complete understanding of Mantra Shastra.

Below video shows Param Pujya Shri Devi Baa and Shiv Guruji doing Guru (PP Devshankar Trivedi Ji) puja before travelling to UK. Shri Devi Baa and Shiv Guruji consistently did Guru puja atleast once a month in most cases and before and after travel to overseas. There is no wonder PP Shri Devi Baa and Shiv Guruji reached to ultimate level of spirituality due to blessings of the Guru Shri Devshankar Trivedi ji.

Sauh (सौः) is para (परा) the infinite. It’s combined Shiv and Shakti beeja as colon(two dots). She represents the पद दवयं-combined Shiv Shakti. रक्त(Red-Devi’s Light) शुक्ल(White-Shiva’s light) मिश्र (conjunct) – Means Devi’s red light and Shiva’s white light conjunct as “Sauh” seed. This light only seen when Sauh sound is vibrated enough to release the light from Sahastrar Chakra on the crown of the head. Red-White light also represents Ardhanarishwar as a Guru.

Shri Vidya Guru Shri Ganpatram ji

On the 6th day of mantra Anusthan, I would like to introduce another shinning sun of my Guru Mandal (Circle of Gurus) who nurtured and spread the Shri Vidya Reet for hundred of years. This my tribute to the Guru Mandal.

Shri Ganpatram Dave was  the Guru of Shri Vidya Kashi Pashupat Parampara, who started to spread the Vidya (knowledge) to the worthy ones across the Gujarat. He was the Guru of very popular world famous singer Pandit Jasraj. He is my Paratpar Guru. His son Shri Vasudevbhai installed Shri Yantra in Ambaji temple (http://www.ambajitemple.in/). Which is a biggest place of pilgrimage in Gujarat state for Shakti worshippers.

He lived in his mortal body for more than 100 years and never wore any sewn clothes or shoes as in Hindu philosophy sewn clothes are not recommended for people aspiring for higher spiritual growth.

Shri Ganpatramji was main disciple of Shri Sitaram Bhatt ji of Pune (https://aishwaryanand.com/2017/12/11/shri-vidya-guru-shri-sitaramji-bhatt/). It is said that when Shri Sitaram Guruji on the edge of Mahasamadhi (casting off his physical body) his all Shishyas (Students) came to see him. Shri Ganpatram dada came and did his puja and drunk the Charnamrut of Shri Sitaramji and all the powers and knowledge got transferred into Shri Ganpatramji. It was unknown to other students so the students asked, ” Guruji (Sitaramji) ! Do you want to say (give any further knowledge which is still available to you) anything?” Guruji said, “All the knowledge is went to Gujarat with Ganpatramji”. He was a carrier of  complete and correct(without any misinterpretations)  knowledge of Shri Vidya Parampara of 100s of years. He was the one who could correct the Shankaracharya in many matters of philosophy.

Shri Ganapatram Dave was a great scholar, actually one of the greatest Vedantists of the time and was bestowed the title Ved Martand Tantra Shiromani by Dwarka Shankaracharya.

Apart for running a Gurukul for Vedas, Guruji was the trusted advisor to the Kings of Gujarat and advised the installation of the Bhuvaneshwari Amba Murthi in Gondal.  The purpose of this was to aid the struggle for independence from the British Raj.  He was known throughout India as one of the greatest Tantriks of the Century and even today holy places like Kamakhya to Rameshearam still carry his memories.

He had many devoted shisyas such as his son Shri Vasudevbhai, Shri Nandkishore Vyas, Shri Pratap Rai, Harshad Bhai, Shri Girjashankar Rawal and Smt Tarlaben Rawal.

His main shishya to whom Guruju passed the Gurugadi to was Shri Devshankar Trivedi of Sanand and Raja Jayvant Singh, renouned Kali Upasak and King of Sanand.

Famous for his contribution to the world of classical musical he gave the World many new ragas and compositions to enjoy.

His main shishya to who Guruji passed the Gurugadi to was Shri Devshankar Trivedi of Sanand. Guruji was the one of the greatest Kaulupasakas of the time and gave Diksha to and guided many in Shri and Kali Kul. A prime example was Raja JayawantSingh (king of Sanand), who was frequently visited in the palace by Adhya and Batuknath and created many ragas and compositions. Another shisya is the great PanditJasraj, of the famous mewathigharana, famous for his contribution to the world of classical music.

Gurudev wrote the Shri Vidya Mani Ratna Saparya Padhati in the 1800s, which is still used today. Furthermore, the Ambaji Shri yantra was reinstalled by him and as a result has many shisiyas in Siddhpur and Kamakhya. During his life he had met up with Pujya Gurudev Shri Devi Ba and was taken aback by her devotion. He wished to give her Diksha but unfortunately they never met after this. Gurudev lived for over 100 years after which he achieved Manidweep.

Below photo of Shri Vasudevbhai Ganpatram Dave who installed Yantraraj Shri Yantra at Ambaji temple.

Shri Vidya Guru Shri Achyutananda Nath

Friends,

I am back after a long time, I would like to introduce a very new phase of my spiritual journey with Shri Vidya Kashi Pashupat Reet (method) Parampara .

While doing Guru mantra Anusthan, I would like to introduce my Guru Mandal (Circle of Gurus) who nurtured and spread the Shri Vidya Reet for hundred of years. This my tribute to the Guru Mandal.

Shri Achyutananda Nath (Kaul Bhattji) was the Guru of Shri Vidya Kashi Pashupat Sampraday, who started to spread the Vidya (knowledge) to the worthy ones across the India. He casted his physical body off 127 years before but I can feel his presence while doing the Anusthan.

Sri Achyutananda Nath is the 241st Guru in the lineage of Shri Vidya Pashupat Sampraday, which branched off to Trika and Kashmir Shaivism.

Sri Achyutananda Nathji was born as Sri DamodarRamkrishna Bhatt on Adhik Jyestha, Krishna-Paksha Pratipada in 1839. At the age of 8, known as DamodarRamkrishna Bhatt, Gurudev left Gwalior for Kashi. In Kashi he was initiated in the spiritual system of Shri Vidya by Sri Vikaranandnath, He was given Purnadiksha by Shri Kashi Vishwanath. Guruji was famous around the Temple of Vishwanathji, and was known as Kaul Bhatt. His sadhana was unparalleled especially in Batuk Bhairav and was well renowned in the highest spiritual circles.

By the grace of his Guru, he was given the Lineage of ‘Pashupath Shri Vidya’ which was near extinction at the time. Furthermore, with the Divine blessings from the Shankracharya at that time Sri AchyutanandaNathji took an oath to propagate this rare Marg.

Gurudev had many Siddhis and had perfected the Sadhana of both Sarbheshwar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharabha)  and BatukBhairava and these devtas were always seen to be with him. Not only was he the main propagator of the rare and nearly extinct Pashupat Sampradaya (of the 8 Shri Vidya Gupta Sampradayas), he was also the master in Mallkhambh and had won many accolades in wrestling. He was given and perfected this Siddhi from Shri Hanumnaji (please see the following you tube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1NW7etjbls).

Guruji later set up and opened up many centres around Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh and Puna which are still practicing this art.

Gurudev was a great Adept at the time in Shri Vidya (Pashupati Reethi)sadhana and initiated many disciples including Jahansi Ki Rani, Tatyatope Peshwa Baji Rao II, Bal Krishna Gangadhar Tilak and Shri Sitaram Bhatt (Puna) to name a few. It is rumoured that the Bhairavi, who taught Sri Ramakrshna Paramhamsa was his doing.

Once Swami Vivekananda had returned from Chicago, he was advised by Shri Ramkrishna Paramhamsa to go to Kashi and learn Shri Vidya from Achhytuanandji. Amongst the great Siddhas of Kashi, Shri Achyutanandji was exceptionally famous and always had huge crowds jostling to meet and receive his blessings. Guruji wanted to escape this extreme attention and eventually left Kashi Mokhsa Puri and went to Haridwar, where he took Jaal Samadhi. Those who witnessed his Jaal Samadhi, witnessed Maha Kali, Batuk Bhairav and Lord Shiva blessing him and before his disappearance, he handed over the Guru lineage to Shri Sitaram Bhatt – Puna (https://aishwaryanand.com/2017/12/11/shri-vidya-guru-shri-sitaramji-bhatt/).

To this day, Shri Achutanandji’s Akhadas are still found in Kashi, Gwalior and Puna.

He reached Manidweepam on 27/09/1890.
In this Diwali time Shri Urvashiben (my beloved Guru Baa) and Rakeshbhai (My Guide and Guru) with other upasaks visited Gurudev’s Akhada in Kashi and Malkam Stambh Pujan, Photos as follows..

Shri Vidya Guru Shri Sitaramji Bhatt

While doing Guru mantra Anusthan on 5th day out of love, I would like to introduce my Guru Mandal (Circle of Gurus) who nurtured and spread the Shri Vidya Reet for hundred of years. This my tribute to the Guru Mandal.

Shri Sitaramji Bhatt was the Guru of Shri Vidya Kashi Pashupat Parampara, who started to spread the Vidya (knowledge) to the worthy ones across the Gujarat and Maharashtra. He was the He casted his physical body off 80 years before but I can feel his presence while doing the Anusthan.

Shri Sitaram Guruji of Pune (Shree Prakashanandanathji) was born at Pandavwadi Tal –Wai Dist – Satara M.S. on 8th Jan 1866.  In 1881 Shri Sitaram Guruji married Shri Venutai Vasudev Bhide.  They had two daughters, Sundaratai and Awaditai & two sons Ananta and Narayan.   Furthermore, Ananta had four sons – Govinda, Vighnanash, Nagnath and Ramkrishna.

Shri Sitaram Guruji was the passed on the Gurugadi from his Guru Acchyutanandji (https://aishwaryanand.com/2017/12/11/shri-vidya-guru-shri/) and was a great personality of his time.  He was a close friend of Akal Kot Baba and when Shridi Sai baba was returning after a long absence, he was troubled by his awakened Kundalini.  He was advised to seek Shri Sitaram Guruji and learn the techniques of kundalini yoga to control his Kundalini energy!

Shree Sitaram Guruji suffered from TB & he was protected by his Guru Shri Acchyutanand Guruji through Parthiv Puja Anushthan.  In 1882, Shri Sitaramguruji received his Purnabhishek.   At the time, Guruji was serving as a School teacher in the Deccan Education Society’s School.  He graduated in Law and was appointed Chief Justice in Manasa State, Gujarat,  by the then King of Manasa state.  Later the King actually became a disciple of Shri  Sitaramguruji himself.

Guruji revived the Divine tradition of Sri Vidya in Gujarat.  After resigning from the position of Chief Justice, Shri Sitaram Guruji relocated to in Gujarat.  During this time, many people were blessed with Diksha in Gujarat.  Although being an Advocate Judge he had complete mastery over Sanskrit.
